We drove to Nashville, TN on Saturday and scouted the ceremony locataion at the large Opryland Hotel where Stephanie and Andy were getting married on Sunday. We did everything as planned and created a Same Day Edit which we showed immediately following a photo montage we also created before hand. Every guest loved it and I received many compliments. Stephanie and Andy as well as their family and friends are very down-to-earth people and we enjoyed meeting them and working for them.
Not just any wedding, it was my best friend’s wedding! He catered my wedding almost 4 years ago and I returned the favor… So I went to Atlanta, GA where they live and flew out to Vegas with them and spent 4 days there. We all had a blast! It was great to meet his and Lea Ann’s friends whom I’ve never met as well as catching up with one I haven’t seen in a few years. I got so much great footage, while making this trailer, I had to keep it wedding related and not a Vegas promo clip Oh, a cool coincidence… Lorie and Alberto (2.17.07 wedding) stayed at the same hotel Adam & Lea Ann got married!!!
First, Adam wasn’t “into” video the first day in Atlanta, GA… so I made this little clip the night to show him the next morning to get him motivated… This was later edited into their main movie in a slower fashion.. but this was cool!
Part of being on the web, one must deal with constant spam and stupidity and spoil fun for many people.

MANY friends and family didn’t let a cold and snowy day stop them from being with Lorie and Alberto on their wedding day! They had a beautiful wedding in Cedar Bluff, VA… view their trailer here.
Since I’m in the business of documenting memories of newlyweds and many of you are either getting married, have been married a relatievely short time such as ourselves, or may have been married for many many years, I wanted put a little something special together for my wife so I can give her something to enjoy (video wise).
We have a not-very-good video of our wedding, and this is one reason why I do weddings… to give you something you can be proud of and enjoy for years to come… and not end up like we did wishing we had a good video! The shots you see in this clip are the most salvageable shots… I won’t get into it all, but simply put, HIRE A PROFESSIONAL! (BTW, I do appreciate those friends’ help and offer, but wish I let them just enjoy themselves and hired a pro.)
Anyways, I just wanted to put a little something together today for my wife… this contains footage of our wedding and from some pictures too from various events. I chose this song because we have been through alot in out relatively short time together and I can just see ourselves being 80 years old saying “Remember When” and looking back on these “chapters” of our lives.
To Modesty,
I love you for all that you do for everyone around you.
I love you for the joy you bring to anyone who comes in contact with you.
I love you for being you.
I love you for standing with me through thick and thin through anything.
I love you for helping me find my talents and what I now love to do.
I love you for making my life more complete.
I love you more than you’ll ever know.
Modesty, you are the most wonderful woman I have ever met and am so glad we met in that bad place we worked… that was the only good thing that came out of that place I look forward to growing old with you… I look forward to the many things that may come our way… I look forward to dinner tonight… I look forward to a chance of us being “us”. I know we both work like crazy, but in the midst of everything, I really do enjoy every moment we share together… yes, even when you “nag” me.
Thank you for everything and I can only hope that I can one day give you in return everything you have given me.
